Employment Type:Full timeShift:Day ShiftDescription:Position Summary and Highlights: Saint Alphonsus Health System is seeking a Full-Time Certified Surgical Technologist to join our Ten Mile Surgery Center in Meridian, Idaho.The Ten Mile Surgery Center is a multi-specialty outpatient surgery center offering services in orthopedics, ENT, general, gynecology and more. Alongside the variety in cases, this site features an amazing schedule with a four-day work week, and no required call, nights or holidays.Schedule and Benefits:

• Position is scheduled for 40 hours a week Monday through Thursday from 6:30am to 5:00pm. Call, nights and weekends are not required!

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Current CST certification from the NBSTSA or NCCT required.
  • At least one (1) year experience in a health care or military medical settings required.What You Will Do:
    • Provide intra-operative patient care to patients as directed by the Director of Nursing / Medical Director / Quality Committee(s).
    • Anticipate surgeon's needs in the use of medical supplies, instrumentation & equipment availability & readiness.
    • Prepare case carts for surgical procedures and maintain a sterile operating room suite during procedures.
    • Assist and/ or ensure documentation & detailed records are kept.
