Essential Functions / Key Responsibilities

• Builds partnerships with customers and sets the example for the delivery of exceptional customer service.
• Reviews operational and financial reports to ensure station is meeting goals and objectives and takes corrective action as required.
• Ensures compliance with policies and procedures, rules, standards, customer requirements and governmental/regulatory requirements.
• Participates in employee relations investigations when complaints arise and resolves issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Promotes and adheres to policies concerning Safety, Anti-Harassment and Equal Employment Opportunity.
• Recruits new employees to ensure appropriate staffing, promotes team-building initiatives and performs coaching/mentoring activities to develop and motivate team members.
• Ensure that employees are properly trained and audit safety records as needed.
• Sets, measures and manages performance of self and others. Leads team members in achieving/exceeding operational and financial objectives and goals.
• Ensures compliance with rules and standards of all relevant regulatory agencies and applicable laws.
• Performs other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and experience capabilities expected for this position. Basic Qualifications Pre-requisites:
  • Must be a local (in-state) resident.
  • Valid In-State Driver's License.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Ability to pass up to a 10-year background check.
  • Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
  • Must complete ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security. Education:
    • High School diploma or GED. Experience:
      • Two+ years of relevant experience. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
        • Strong problem solving skills.
        • Excellent customer service skills.
        • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
        • Must have strong organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications Education:
          • Four-year college education or equivalent experience. Experience:
            • Four+ years of relevant experience.
            • Relevant supervisory experience. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
              • Ability to apply creative solutions that have positive impact on results.
              • Able to effectively resolve employee conflicts.
              • Strong leadership qualities and ability to create a passionate and efficient workforce. Work Environment:
                • Must be able to be alert to moving vehicles or aircraft and use radio equipment.
                • Enjoy the outdoors on a daily basis (sun, rain, sleet or snow!) May be exposed to a wide variety of weather conditions, jet and machinery noises, fumes, dirt and dust for extended periods. Physical Demands/Requirements:
                  • Must be able to lift / carry / push / pull and move items of 70 pounds and/or more on a regular basis and repetitively lift weights of 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces.
                  • Must be able to walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop on a frequent basis and for extended periods.
                  • Must be able to work in cramped or high places.
                  • Must be able to carry heavy items up and down jet way stairs.
                  • Ability to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard, printer, and phone. Supervisory Responsibilities
                    • Supervisory experience required.
