• A supportive team environmentJob DetailsAs an Accounting and Tax Manager, you will be responsible for supervising the monthly accounting and tax processes while providing excellent personal service to a section of our small business clients. You will interact with clients on a regular basis, and ensure our systems are running smoothly to provide accurate accounting information. Your goal is to maintain long-lasting working relationships with your clients and your team.Responsibilities:What You'll Do:
  • Provide exceptional, personal service to a dedicated section of our small business clientele.
  • Provide real insight to our clients into the financial strengths and weaknesses of their business to help their business thrive.
  • Supervise and manage monthly accounting and tax processes.
  • Lead client onboarding, monthly reconciliations, tax planning, and preparation efforts.
  • Work with a variety of accounting software, including QuickBooks Online, to keep client accounts accurate and up-to-date.
  • Engage in continuous professional development and help other team members develop their own skills.Qualifications:Who You Are:
    • Passionate about small businesses and experienced in managing multiple client accounts.
    • Upbeat and confident with a friendly personality.
    • A CPA or EA, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a public accounting firm preferred, and at least 2 years of accounting supervisory experience.
    • Tech-savvy with a strong proficiency in modern accounting software. QuickBooks Online certification is a plus.
    • Tax return preparation (1040, 1065, 1120S) experience required.
